In early September 2025, 63 freshmen majoring in Chinese language from over 20 countries — including Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Russia, Canada, and Colombia — arrived at Yunnan University to begin their “Study in China, Study at Yunnan University” journey.
Guided by teachers and volunteers, the students explored the century-old Donglu Campus, learning about Chinese culture and history through the university’s architecture and stories — turning the campus itself into a living textbook.
Beyond orientation, the two-week program offered community visits, an inspiring opening ceremony, and thematic lectures on academic study, psychological well-being, and peer sharing.
By combining professional education with cultural immersion, the School of Chinese International Education at Yunnan University nurtures global talents who will serve as future bridges of cultural exchange — sharing the vibrant stories of China with the world.
