Spectacular Chinese lion dances, kung fu performances from both local and Chinese groups and traditional Chinese and Kenyan arts performances were part of the eye-catching presentations that on Sunday marked the celebration of the upcoming Spring Festival, attracting hundreds of revelers in Kenya's capital Nairobi.

Extending greetings and wishes, Guo Haiyan, Chinese ambassador to Kenya, said at the event that the Spring Festival has become a symbol of Chinese culture that is generally accepted, recognized and appreciated across the world.
