With abundant rainfall and sunshine, Jianyang, a district of Nanping city in Fujian, is renowned for its tea production.

Antonio, a Mexican student from Jinan University had an opportunity to immerse himself in the tea culture of Jianyang. He savored tea at mountain tea pavilion, enjoying the comfort of "snatching a little leisure from a busy life". He also learned the art of Dian Cha, or tea whisking, which originated in the Song Dynasty, and explored the ancient craft of Jian Zhan—a type of teacup once favored by royalty and traded along the Maritime Silk Road.

Jian Zhan hails from Jianyang, its beauty and craftsmanship preserved through generations. Every piece is forged in kilns using ancient techniques, now shared with the world through livestreams and exhibitions. Sipping tea from this exquisite craft is a truly unique experience.
