The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) is being held in Shanghai. This year, the majority of young CIIE volunteers are from universities in Shanghai. They are helping make the sixth CIIE a success.

Chen Luyu, a doctoral student at Fudan University, has been volunteering at the CIIE since 2020. He said that he finds serving others fulfilling and has made many friends through the experience. Every year, he takes on different roles and continues to learn and broaden his horizons. This year, he aims to capture the enthusiasm of the CIIE and the warmth of Shanghai through photography.

Liu Shenglei, a final year postgraduate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, has been involved with the CIIE since he was a sophomore. He started as a reserve volunteer and has worked in various positions throughout the years. This edition of the CIIE will be his last as a volunteer before graduating. He said that he cherishes the memories and experiences he gained during his six-year journey with the CIIE.

Lin Yangyang and Fu Xiaoya, students from Donghua University, have participated in many volunteer activities together. At the sixth CIIE, they are working at the temporary document management post in the news center, sharing stories of China and showcasing the charm of the youth.

Twin sisters Xu Xiaoyu and Xu Xiaofeng are among the 140 CIIE volunteers from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Xu Xiaoyu works at the catering post in the news center, while Xu Xiaofeng assists the university with various CIIE-related tasks.
