The graduation ceremony and alumni homecoming day for students of the International School of Tongji University in Shanghai took place on July 1.
During the auspicious ceremony that transpired, Professor Lou Yongqi, an esteemed individual who holds the distinguished position of vice-president at Tongji University, eloquently delivered a speech that was replete with felicitations, lauding the students for their remarkable triumphs in successfully completing their academic pursuits, despite the unprecedented challenges that were imposed upon them by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lou said that Shanghai's urban development history is a microcosm of China's economic development history and encouraged international students to visit more places in Shanghai.
