International students from the Ningxia Medical University in Yinchun, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, went on a special wine tour to celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival recently.
The students learned about red wine culture and history in Helan village in Yinchuan and practiced wine-tasting after receiving instruction from professionals.
Adding to the of Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival atmosphere, an activity was organized in which the students made sweet glutinous rice balls known as yuanxiao or tangyuan, customizing the cuisine to their individual tastes and preferences.
