The Career Talk & Matchmaking Event is launched by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC) on Nov 29.

An online job fair organized by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC) was held in Beijing on Nov 29, aiming to help employers in Beijing find global talents.

Over 900 participants, including international students from 91 top universities in Beijing and outstanding foreign youth talents from different countries, met leading employers in Beijing via video link.

A total of 101 positions were offered by China Daily, Byte Dance, and Xiaomi for qualified overseas applicants.

Recruiters introduced their development vision, global network and main business respectively, inviting high-level foreign talents and professionals to work in Beijing or join their global overseas teams.

Young talents from Germany, South Korea, Pakistan, Morocco and other countries had exchanges with recruiters on issues such as application requirements, identification processing, telecommuting, and welfare benefits.

Global talents and recruiters from China Daily, Byte Dance, and Xiaomi meet online.

Zeng Fulin, deputy head of the BOTC, said Beijing is making every effort to build an international science and technology innovation center, create a world-class business environment and an international talent community, and continuously optimize international talents services.

"We welcome outstanding international graduates and talents from all over the world to work in Beijing, fully utilize their professional knowledge and creative ability, and achieve career development and acceleration," Zeng said.

The event is an important part of the GT2HR Recruitment Fair, which is designed for the benefit of top foreign talents, young foreign professionals and overseas graduates in China. It established a virtual platform in September and will last until December this year.
