A reading activity initiated by the School of Literature of the Communication University of China (CUC) attracted international students from countries such as Japan, Thailand, Egypt and Nigeria.

The students read stories related to Spring Festival, such as Spring Festival in Childhood by Bing Xin, one of the most prolific Chinese writers of the 20th century, and New Year: The Sound of Cannons Realizing Dreams in Hometown by Chen Zhongshi, winner of the Mao Dun Literary Prize, one of the most prestigious literature prizes in China.

They also shared books such as New Year Nostalgia by Feng Zikai, an influential Chinese artist of the 20th century, and Spending Chinese New Year in US by Yan Geling, a prominent Chinese writer.

The students said they will share the beauty of reading with their Chinese classmates.
