9月28日午前、上海市人民政府外事弁公室、上海市人民対外友好協会の作成・印刷する『上海在留外国人向けサービスマニュアル』（International Services Shanghai）の発表及び「国際体験官」証書授与式は上海にて行われた。上海市外事弁公室主任、上海市友好協会常務副会長孔福安氏は祝辞を述べた。約40名の上海在留外国人は同イベントに出席した。
To attract more expats to Shanghai and help them better integrate into the city, the Shanghai municipal authorities released an international services handbook, providing local policy and service information to expat residents, on Thursday.
The Global Civilization Forum, hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), opened in Beijing on Sept 16. Themed "Bridging Global Civilizations and Enhancing International Understanding", the forum brought together renowned scholars and experts, including Zhang Longxi, emeritus professor of the City University of Hong Kong, foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, and foreign member of Academia Europaea.
The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) organized a "Study in China" visit to Athens, Greece to conduct the "Sino-Hellenic Higher Education Workshop and Study in China Seminar" on Sept 18. The event was co-sponsored by the CSCSE and the “Study in Greece” program.
