3rd Asia-Europe Teacher Education Forum held in Lanzhou

The 3rd Asia-Europe Teacher Education Forum was held in Lanzhou, Gansu, by Northwest Normal University from Oct 24-26. Themed "AI-Empowered Teachers: Reshaping the Future of Education", the event gathered over 300 leading experts from more than 60 institutions across 14 countries to explore the future of the teaching profession.

Discussions centered on realistic pathways for AI integration, covering theoretical innovation, practical application, and policy design. The Belt and Road Teacher Education Community was officially launched at the opening ceremony. Gansu has recently leveraged China’s westward opening strategy to deepen and expand international educational exchanges.

This forum has strengthened consensus and cooperation in teacher education across Asia and Europe, and contributed to advancing coordinated regional educational development.
