Gansu Vocational College of Communications, formerly known as Gansu Provincial Communications School founded in 1956, is the only transportation-focused vocational college in Gansu province. Over the years, the college has cultivated and dispatched tens of thousands of outstanding professionals for the economic development of the country and Gansu province, earning it the title of the "Cradle of Transportation Professionals". The college currently has over 14,000 full-time students, occupying an area of 1,197.162 acres with a building area of 341,660 square meters and a library collection of 721,380 books.
It comprises 10 schools under Gansu Vocational College of Communications, offering 34 programs across fields such as Highway and Bridge Engineering, Intelligent and Connected New Energy Vehicles, Modern Logistics, Urban Rail Transit, Aviation Services, and Smart Transportation.
The college began recruiting international students from "Belt and Road" countries in 2017 and has the qualification to enroll students under the Silk Road Scholarship of Gansu Province.
