My name is Arooj Afzal. The Chinese name given to me by my teacher is 卢京. As I entered the gates of Guizhou Medical University, the unfamiliar surroundings quickly transformed into a welcoming haven. The camaraderie among my teachers and the friendly nature of my classmates made me feel right at home. Their unwavering support played a pivotal role in helping me overcome the initial challenges of being in a foreign land. Their willingness to address my concerns, whether academic or personal, created a nurturing environment that allowed me to focus on my studies and personal growth.
